Welcome to our Bible Discussion Forum—a place for believers to grow, share, and seek wisdom together. To ensure fruitful and respectful conversations, please follow these guidelines:
- Doctrinal Questions: Clarify biblical teachings, interpretations, or theological concepts.
- Practical Christian Living: Seek advice on applying Scripture to daily life (relationships, work, trials, etc.).
- Book/Passage Explanations: Ask for insights on specific verses or themes in my books or other christian literature.
- Healthy Debates: Discuss differing views respectfully with the goal of edifying other believers.
- Disrespectful Tone: No mocking, sarcasm, or belittling others’ beliefs.
- Loaded/Accusatory Questions: Avoid phrases like “How can you believe [X] when the Bible says [Y]?”—rephrase with humility.
- Personal Attacks: Never target individuals (e.g., “People who think [X] are ignorant”).
- Speculative Topics: Focus on Scripture-based discussions, not conspiracy theories or extra-biblical revelations.
- Spam/Self-Promotion: No ads, irrelevant links, or repeated off-topic posts.
- Unbiblical Teachings: Ground responses in Scripture, not personal opinions or false doctrines.
- Condescension: Correct with gentleness (2 Timothy 2:24–25), not pride.
- Overgeneralizations: Avoid “All [denomination] are wrong because…”—address ideas, not groups.
- Copy-Pasted Content: Summarize or paraphrase sources (give credit if quoting extensively).
- Private Matters: Don’t share sensitive personal details about others.
“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt” (Colossians 4:6). Moderators may edit/remove posts violating these principles. Thanks for building up the Body of Christ!
